Liki24

Liki24.com is regarded as the medical ecommerce platform in Ukraine. It unites over 1 million customers, over 10 thousand pharmacies, laboratories, manufacturers of pharmaceutical medicines, and medical commodities. It also unites other relevant stakeholders and providers of healthcare in one single platform.

The organization began exploring international markets in July 2020 and is steadily strengthening its positions in Poland, Romania, and Hungary. Recently, in June 2022, Liki24 raised an additional $6 million in investments and was invited to present its innovative ideas during Websummit 2022.

Luminate Medical

Luminate Medical is a medical tech supplier and manufacturer working on a medical device aimed at eliminating and preventing chemotherapy-induced hair loss in patients with cancer. Operating in Ireland, Luminate Medical has already obtained the first license for its tool and has started applying it to patients this year.

The startup gained $5.1 million in investments for the further development of this invention, with the latest investment round held in May 2022.

HeartKinetics

HeartKinetics is a digital health startup created in response to the need for reliable technology that allows heart health assessment at any moment and from any location. The company's AI-based technology for patient monitoring is designed to detect and prevent heart failure.

In 2022, the company won a 2-month virtual soft landing at leading research universities across the US. Pierre-François Migeotte, the CEO and founder of HeartKinetics, actively presents the company's breakthrough developments at leading international MedTech events.

MX Labs

MX Labs is a noteworthy young enterprise based in Poland. It seeks to redefine how smartphones are used by creating an innovative platform that leverages advanced artificial intelligence and computer vision capabilities. This startup is turning smartphones into diagnostic instruments for skin health analysis and other valuable physiological indicators.

MX Labs raised $2.5 million in funding at the start of this year and is on the path to shaping the future of AI-based diagnostic tools, making it one of Poland's most promising companies.

CRIAM

CRIAM is an ambitious health-tech enterprise in Portugal aiming to create a portable blood-testing device. The device has undergone numerous procedures and now takes only three minutes per testing cycle, providing instant results with above-average accuracy.

This project has earned CRIAM a place among the top 10 promising Portuguese startups for 2022. The firm recently received $1 million in seed money from SOSV and other institutional investors.

This selection introduces fast-growing medical technology companies to watch out for, as they have enormous potential to disrupt the market in the coming years.
