Software Development Hub at MEDICA 2022
On the 14th and 15th of October, Pavlo Yablonskiy, CTO, and Vasyl Kuchma, Managing Partner, attended MEDICA 2022. It's the leading medical trade fair in the world.
While there, they focused on deepening their knowledge in healthcare and medical fields. Surrounded by the latest breakthrough developments, devices, and smart medical supplies from big names to young companies, Pavlo Yablonskiy and Vasyl Kuchma spent all their time discovering new ideas. Not only could they speak to the people directly connected to these projects, but try some inventions.
Impact of COVID-19
COVID-19 pandemic had an enormous impact on the healthcare field. Companies started going digital in all ways possible, and distance health monitoring became a priority. For this reason, a lot of wearable technologies with cloud-based platforms were presented this year. Remote analyses anywhere, anytime with a smartphone surely will be a common thing in a few years. Moreover, robotic technologies got to a new level. Made to tackle the issue of the lack of some medical institution workers, they were moving around the Messe Düsseldorf this year.
AI & VR
Once a total realm of fiction, today, a part of our reality. AI and VR are making our medical world easier and more qualitative. Pavlo Yablonskiy tried virtual training in intensive care medicine. Vasyl Kuchma didn't just join him but decided to also learn about AI imaging in such a way.
Sustainability
The sustainability topic was raised as well. Speakers and discussants talked about what contribution can hospitals and companies possibly make to invest in our green future.
MEDICA 2022 is one of the best places to acquaint yourself with innovative healthcare. We were there in 2019 and returned in 2022. Undoubtedly we will do it again. This year's trade fair will be remembered as a wonderful event where we took one step closer to understanding the future demands and needs of the field.
