Background
It stores info on 14 000 registered medications. The integration with the Affordable Medicines National Prescription Drugs Cost Reimbursement Program was implemented in 2019.
Objective
To develop an application that will provide all the up-to-date information about medicines approved for production and use in Ukraine. The information should be supplied from the State Register of Medicinal Products of Ukraine.
Solution
Our team has developed a web-source with detailed info on medicinal products to check the medicines prior to issue a prescription. It became a module integrated into the Medical Information System for doctors and clinics use. An authorized user has access to a database of all medicines that are registered for official use in Ukraine indicating an active or expired license. The drug information on the web app can be searched and filtered by a license number, pharmaceutical formulation of the drug, International Nonproprietary Name or trade name.
