Telehealth system for remote patient diagnostics
Ukrainian companies Medstar Solutions LLC and NMT LLC have joined forces to expand digital health opportunities for residents of rural and remote areas. Several brands represent the telemetry system and cloud service IDIS® on the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) market and successfully implemented them in Ukraine, Brazil, and Austria healthcare systems.
To build a complex toolset system that will allow a remote initial diagnostic procedure of a patient in the rural health services posts, ambulatory centers, and directly at the patient's home.
We reached the project's main objective and put our efforts into advancing healthcare services in rural areas. The IDIS® telemedicine diagnostic system is a cloud IoT AI-driven solution for remote patient diagnostics that collects, transmits and interprets patient vital signs data from a distance.
The software gathers the diagnosis data from a portable medical station in one place that is accessible to various healthcare professionals. The internet connection in the system allows to transfer of any medical information, access a patient's EHR, and perform telemedicine conferencing among the health personnel involved in the treatment process.
Remote patient health monitoring
The measurements of vital signs recorded in the system allow monitoring a patient's current condition or during the rehabilitation remotely.
Using Wi-Fi and 3G/4G networks, a patient's diagnostic data could be entered in a personal electronic health record, transferred into any medical information system or the centralized archive of medical data.
Advising the urgent care client
EHR transfer to the cloud simplifies the consulting among healthcare providers and allows to provide qualified primary care services in rural areas.
Diagnostic procedures performance
The system proceeds different procedures to help to determine a diagnosis. For instance, blood pressure measurement, ECG, blood sugar level measurement, urine tests, peak expiratory flow measurement, pulse oximetry, body temperature measurement, etc.
