Luminate Medical is developing a medical device designed for the treatment of chemotherapy-induced alopecia. The company is based in Ireland and already moved to treat the first patients this year. The startup raised a total of $5.1M, and the latest funding was in May 2022.

MX Labs is a startup that turns smartphones into diagnostics tools without extra costs. The platform combines analyze facial skin texture and extract vital physiological signs through a camera. MX Labs is among the Polish startups with a chance to dominate the market in the future. At the beginning of 2022, the startup raised $2.5M of investments and today accelerates the development of AI-based diagnostic technology.

CRIAM is a healthtech startup focused on the development of a portable blood 3-minute testing device for reliable on-the-spot. It’s one of the top Portuguese startups in 2022. The company closed a $1M seed round led by SOSV, Artesian, and the Portugal-based Social Impact Fund.
